All shipments originate out of Eau Claire, WI. Shipping prices are determined by package weight and geographical location from the shipment’s origin. Ambient Inks will not be held responsible for any items lost, delayed, damaged, or stolen during transit.
We ship anywhere in the Continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
Orders are processed Monday – Friday (by 5pm CT) and shipped in 1-3 Business Days* of order placement. Transit time includes weekdays and Saturdays only. The time it takes for your order to be delivered depends on the shipping method chosen at checkout. Shipping times exclude Holidays.

Please note that USPS Media Mail is a budget service offered by the United States Postal Service that allows Vinyl and other physical media items to be shipped in a low-priority delivery process. This non-insured service does not come with guaranteed tracking and shall be utilized with the acknowledgement it has a greater risk of delays and damages.
We ship anywhere in the World that allows imported packages and products.

USPS and Ambient Inks cannot guarantee that packages will be delivered in the stated time frame. The only service with guaranteed delivery time is USPS Priority Mail Express.
All international orders are subject to the customs laws of the destination country. Please note orders shipped outside the US may be subject to import duties and/or taxes imposed by Customs when the order reaches your country. Payment of all duties and taxes is the sole responsibility of the customer.
We are not responsible for lost packages. If your package has not arrived during the suggested delivery time, please check with your local customs and post office. They can typically hold packages for 15 days, and if unclaimed by that time it will be returned to the sender. We will not issue a credit or reship any items if they are lost in transit.

By initiating a return, you agree to the terms of our return and exchange policies as outlined below.
We accept returns on items within 30 days of purchase for domestic orders. To qualify for a refund, merchandise must be unworn and unwashed and music must be sealed. Once you initiate your return, you will receive a return shipping label to place on your return package. $8.00 will be automatically deducted from your refund to cover the cost of return shipping, unless there was an error on our end. Upon return, you will be refunded for the items, less original shipping.
If you would prefer not to use our automatically generated shipping label, feel free to mail your return back on your own. This way, you will not be charged the $8.00 fee for return shipping. Mail to:

Please also include the reason for the return on the original packing slip or a separate sheet of paper within your return shipment. Or even better, here’s a handy Return form to print and include in your return shipment. Refunds are only processed to the original payment form. We do not offer gift returns, gift exchanges, or merchandise credit.
Please note: For hygienic reasons, we are unable to accept returns on intimate or used items like bike shorts, underwear, masks etc. We reserve the right to refuse items based on the nature of the item itself.
We take pride in the quality of the items that we ship; all items are shipped in pristine condition and are carefully packed by our team. Unfortunately, once something leaves our building we have no control over the condition in which it arrives.
Please be mindful of the delivery service chosen at check out. If you have chosen an Insured Service (USPS Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail Express) used please reach out to USPS here to file a claim.
If your item has arrived and is damaged or defective, please reach out to support@ambientinks.com for assistance within 48 hours of delivery. We will require a photo or video to be sent for all replacement requests. We are not responsible for transit damage and cannot exchange or refund for damage unless an insured service is purchased. This includes cosmetic damage to all shipped music.
If you use an international mail forwarding service, your order is ineligible for damage replacement as we cannot be held responsible for their handling of your package upon original delivery.
A note on vinyl and other physical media: Ambient Inks is not responsible for minor cosmetic damage that occurs during the delivery process. Split inserts, corner dings, and creases are unfortunately the reality of the shipping process. Please reach out if any damage affects the vinyl’s ability to play.
We accept returns on unworn, unwashed and sealed items within 30 days of delivery for international orders. You will be responsible for any shipping costs. If it was an error on our end, shipping costs will be reimbursed once a receipt has been submitted to support@ambientinks.com. Mail to:

To exchange an item, place a new order for the replacement item and then return the original item via our Return Policy. $8.00 will be automatically deducted from your refund for the cost of return shipping, unless there was an error on our end. You are also responsible for paying the shipping cost (calculated at checkout) for the replacement item(s) that you order.

If your package is returned to us, we will notify you by email upon return except for the following reasons:
If you do not respond within 1 week we will return the item(s) into our stock and refund the amount, less the original shipping. We cannot stop or reroute a package once it has been marked return to sender, and we will not offer a reshipment or refund unless the package arrives back to our facility.

We accept PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Please do not send cash or check. Sales tax will be applied as appropriate based on shipping address. Payment is captured at check out for all orders, including preorders and backorders. We reserve the right to cancel any orders that have not yet been fulfilled due to pricing errors, stock issues, or the misuse of coupon codes.
If you order non pre-order items with pre-order items they will not ship until the specified date on the product description. If you need the non pre-ordered items sooner, please place two separate orders.
